Join Grace Hill every Sunday as we journey through the Book of Ephesians. God gave us twenty one letters to churches (or leaders of churches). Thirteen of these letters (fourteen if you count Hebrews) was authored by the Apostle Paul, including his letter to the church in Ephesus. Throughout this marvelous letter, Paul teaches that the Christian church, consisting of people from all nations and ethnic groups, enjoys and must maintain unity in the inaugurated new creation of which they are fellow heirs with Christ.

Where Will You Serve?

Grace Hill is a living organism, composed of many believers who desperately need one another as we navigate this life. One small way we intentionally invest time in one another’s lives is through our regular acts of serving.

We All Need Us All

The church by nature is a collection of individuals that forge a unified community. The concept of a lone ranger Christian is foreign to Scripture. And a church with only few participating in the life of the church is on its way to becoming an unhealthy church. We all need one another as we endeavor to build up a thriving body of believers.

1 Peter 4:10–11

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

On Sunday, January 5th, Grace Hill will begin a new sermon series: A study through Paul’s Letter to the Church in Ephesus.

A Letter for the Church

Throughout this marvelous letter, Paul teaches that the Christian church, consisting of people from all nations and ethnic groups, enjoys and must maintain unity in the inaugurated new creation of which they are fellow heirs with Christ.

We are thankful that you’re joining us for this series as we dive into God’s Word to soak up the great promises of God’s rich grace and mercy in this letter. The pastors are praying that God would meet with you personally as we explore this letter together!

The Biggest Story

Beginning Sunday, January 5th, during Sunday School, the children of Grace Hill embark on a journey through the storyline of the Bible - one could say this story is in fact The Biggest Story. This study will lead them on a journey through the Bible, from the garden of Eden to the return of Christ. The curriculum draws kids into Scripture and helps them grasp its overarching message of redemption.

A Big Story About A Big God

A Biblical Theology for the younger generations. Properly speaking, this study is all about Biblical Theology. This is a way of studying the Scriptures to observe how it all fits together to form one cohesive narrative story about Jesus the Savior, as God works out his plan of redemption throughout history.

Who needs popcorn and a movie when we’ve got popcorn and polity?! Come spend a series of three Sunday evenings at Grace Hill. Just sit back, relax, snack on some popcorn, and enjoy a night of polity as we carefully review and discuss three important documents in the life of our church.

Church polity matters; perhaps more than we will ever know. Therefore we endeavor to carefully work through a few documents that will ultimately shape the way Grace Hill functions as a local church as we further lean in to our desire to make much of the good name of Jesus in Merton and beyond.

In the coming weeks the pastors will introduce you to a set of proposed documents, (1) the Trinity Fellowship Book of Church Order, (2) Grace Hill ByLaws, and (3) the Grace Hill Book of Church Life. Come ready to ask questions and engage in a healthy discussion about these documents and how they help shape and guide our ministry, for our good and for Christ’s glory.

What Do You Believe?

As we wrap up our thirty five week Sunday School study through the Trinity Fellowship Confession of Faith we want to provide the final three weeks in December to interact with any remain questions you may have regarding the doctrines we have carefully and slowly explored over the past few months.

Three Sundays | Unlimited Questions

We plan to complete our study on the Confession of Faith on Sunday, December 8th, and then commit the final three Sunday School sessions to your questions. So begin writing out any and all questions you have and come prepared to ask the elders. This is one of the ways we learn best, through open and ongoing discussion. We want to encourage everyone to come and participate.

Our next youth night is scheduled for Saturday, December 14th from 4-8pm at the Enge's house. Wear your most fashionable Hawaiian gear while we hula to Christmas carols. The time will also include sharing a meal together, and then continuing our study through the Sermon on the Mount.

We currently meet once a month to learn and grow. Every meeting is different. Sometimes it's a party. Sometimes it's a service project. Often we have deep theological conversations. 7th-12th graders from inside and outside the church are welcome to join.
